Meet Christopher Knipe

Project Manager | Residential Construction Professional | Independent New Build Inspector

  • Residential construction Project Manager
  • Delivering major housing developments
  • Independent New Build Home Inspector

Buying a new home is one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make, and you deserve complete confidence that it has been built to the standard you’ve paid for.

My career has been built within the residential construction industry, progressing from Site Engineer to Site Manager, and now Project Manager, delivering major housing developments and multi-million-pound residential projects across the UK.

Working directly for leading construction contractors has given me a detailed understanding of how homes should be built, how quality should be managed, and where defects are most likely to occur. I’ve spent years overseeing construction teams, coordinating trades, managing quality, and ensuring homes are delivered to the standards expected by both developers and homeowners.

Today, I bring that same attention to detail to every inspection carried out by Precision Property Surveys.

Unlike many inspection companies, I don’t simply identify cosmetic defects. I inspect your home with the perspective of someone who understands the construction process from the ground up—looking beyond the obvious to identify workmanship issues, installation defects and areas that fall short of expected construction standards.

Every inspection is carried out impartially and includes clear photographic evidence, practical explanations and prioritised recommendations, giving you complete clarity on what should be addressed before you accept your new home.

When you book an inspection with Precision Property Surveys, you’re choosing someone who understands not only how your home should look, but how it should have been built.

  • Construction experience. Homes judged by someone who has built them.
  • Impartial advice. I work for you, never for your builder.
  • Evidence-based reporting. Every finding photographed and explained.
  • Attention to detail. The small things are usually the telling things.
  • Clear recommendations. Practical actions your developer can act on.

Experience

Why My Experience Matters

Many inspection companies focus solely on identifying visible defects. My approach is different.

Having spent over a decade managing residential construction projects, I understand not only what is wrong, but also why it has occurred, how it should be rectified and the standards your home should have been built to.

That practical construction experience allows me to identify issues that are often overlooked and produce reports that are clear, evidence-based and easy for developers to act upon.

When you choose Precision Property Surveys, your inspection is carried out by someone who has spent years delivering the very type of developments you’re buying into.
